Hey everyone! Snowed out today but luckly I had 4 movies to watch and it was worth it!
My first movie is Acadamy Award Nominated Best Picture 2007, "There Will Be Blood". It is about an Oilman and his son veturing to southern california in 1902 to a town that is on top of an oil pool. They must nagotiate with local young priest Father Eli that is angered at Daniel (the oil man). This is probably the only movie I have enjoyed that critics loved. I'm not into the whole 1900 western movies but this was great and No Country For Old Men can go drown in a pool of Oil on fire because this movie should of one Best Picture 2007. I give this movie 5 Stars and Buy it!!!!!!!
My second movie is Acadamy Award Nominated Pest Picture 2008, "Frost/Nixon". It is about the interview between David Frost and Former President Richard Nixon that just was pardoned from the watergate investigation. This movie wasn't the best movie but it did keep my attention for a long time. I think this movie should of won Best Picture because I herd Slumdog Millionare was horrible. I give it 4 Stars and Rent It.
My third movie is "Zombieland". It is about a Zombie Apocalypse that has left only about 10 or so people on the planet. A boy named Columbus sets off to find his family in Ohio with his Zombie Killing Rules finding hope from Zombie Killer, Tallahasse. They are soon cond by two girls that steal thier car but meet back up in Hollywood where they hide from Zombies in Bill Murry's house. This was acutully a great movie even though the stuff coming out of the Zombies was disgusting. I really enjoyed it and the lead star Jesse Eisenberg did a great job making up for his horrible movie "Adventureland" in April. I give it 4 stars and a Buy it!
My last movie was Oscar Buzzed movie, "Amelia". It is self explanitory being about Amelia Earheart. I really wanted to see this in theaters but I had no time, but i'm glad I waited because it wasn't the greatest movie. I enjoyed it but it was Okay. 3 stars and wait for TV.
Tomorrow, I will have my Valentine's DVD Reviews. Good Night!
