Today's Review is a special version. It is all about movies form the 80's. So let's first hop into our Hot Tub Time Machine into the brillant works of "Airplane", "Ferris Bueller's Day off" , and "The Jerk".
Hot Tub Time Machine is about 4 guys that visit a ski resort and party in a hot tube at the hotel. It happens to be a time machine and they are sent to the 80's. They have to redo every event or things will change in the future. This movie was not funny it was ranchie and stupid. If you drown out a movie with cussing, It ruins the movie. 1 star.
So now we have actual comedies. "Airplane!" is about an airplane that is strucken by food poisaning from fish that most of the people including the pilots on board are being hit by. The attendents must make sure everyone is calm and to get the plane down before the gas runs out. This is true comedy. I could not stop laughing at some of the most pointless jokes and the hilarious gags. This is a definit Buy it and I give it 4 1/2 stars.
"Ferris Bueller's Day off" is about a boy named Ferris Bueller that fakes sick to have a fun day. He decides to take his best friend and girl friend with them to skip out on a day of school. But Ferris' sister and the principal are verry suspicious about his 9th sick day out. This wasn't as funny as Airplane! or The Jerk but it was still a pretty good movie. I thought charlie sheen did the best as a drugie. I give it 4 stars and a rent it.
Now my favorite out of all of these has to be "The Jerk". It is Steve Martin's first role and it has to be his best. It is about a white boy that was born a poor black child that disigeds to leave and gets a job at a gas station. When a random assin trys to kill him, he runs and joins the circus where he meets a stunt woman and a babysitter that lost her child. He has romances with both of them and he marries the babbysitter. He invents glasses called the Opti-Grab and makes a fortune ad becomes a millionare. I laughed so hard at this movie I got a headache after the movie. This is my favorite comedic movie ever made! I give it 5 stars and a BUY IT!!!!!!
