Every year I have 3 movies that come out on Christmas that I want to see. Last year's were "Nine" (4 stars), "Alvin and the Chipmuncks 2" (3 1/2) , and "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" (4 stars). This year, no movies are being released on Christmas day so I will be combinding The 22nd and 17th's releases as the choices. This year they are: "Tron: Legacy", "Little Fockers", and "Country Strong" . I also have a Maybe movie and that is "Yogi Bear". (Last year it was "It's Complicated). "Tron: Legacy" is the sequal of the movie "Tron" that came out about 28 years ago. It is about a boy name Sam that gets a message that his abandond father's arcade had a phone call come into one of his father (Kevin)'s friends. He goes into the arcade and is zapped into the game Tron. He finds his father but also an imposster named CLU 2. He must find a way to exit the game with his father. I did not like the first one mostly because I'm used to good visuals and Tron had that new entering into the visual effects era feeling. I also didn't like the story line all that much but this looksd likje a new exciting feel to the older movie. My anticipation level: 9 out of 10. "Little Fockers" is the reunion of the Fockers and Byrnes families meeting the new additions to the Focker family, Henry and Samantha. I am currently watching the previous 2 and I think this one looks very funny. My anticipation level: 6 out of 10. "Country Song" is about a Country star that has just checked out of rehab. She takes on the dchallanges of recovering achololism, the media and press, and her carrer with the help of a new singer and her manager. This movie looks like "Crazy Heart" and I loved Crazy Heart. It has the combination of a Musition trying to overcome challangs meets new friends that help them along the way. I hope this will be as good as Crazy Heart. My anticipation Level; 6 out 10. "Yogi Bear" is based on the beloved cartoon series with the new feel to it. It is about how the park service would like to get rid of Yogi and his family but he does not want to leave. Based on the trailor, this looks like the 3D movie people have been waiting for with acctual 3D. I am tired of those movie that use 3D as a scam for more money. I want things to pop out, that's the whole fun to it. My anticipation level: 6 out of 10. Well that's my 3 to see. I will have the reviews of all these movies at the end of the year.
